TRC Chairman, Mark Jones presents the Mayor of Torfaen, Councillor Robert Jones with a cheque for his chosen charities PROGRESS Prostate Cancer, Breast Cancer Wales and the British Heart Foundation.

£1300 was raised at the Mayor's Charity Show on Sunday 18th April. Our thanks to all those who worked hard to make the day successful including those who performed the most menial tasks such as clearing the field of rubbish, loading and erecting the jumps and marking out the field with poles and ropes. Many more were involved in the organisation of the event including the judges, stewards and announcers and recorders in the 'Canary' and to those we extend our appreciation of their efforts.
The TRC Club Field
TRC has excellent facilities at its Field on the banks of the Afon Lwyd in Cwmbran. The field can accommodate three rings and parking for horseboxes for its open shows . It is well equipped with some fabulous jumps and gymkhana equipment. It is conveniently situated for the many local equestrian yards in and around the area . In early spring the field is open on Wednesday evenings to members when all facilities are made available. In addition special rallies are organised for Show Jumping, Dressage and Gymkhana games. During the bleak winter months events are organised at The Usk College Indoor School.
